The animals on the map are so detailed that my toddler spends ages pointing out the elephants and kangaroos. It’s also great that the mat is double-sided, giving us two different play scenes to switch between.

We use this mat for tummy time and the world map side is perfect for pointing out animals, though I wish the colorful print was a bit sharper. My little one loves staring at the bright continents and it cleans up easily with a quick wipe. Overall a solid buy for a curious baby.

The world map side is bright enough to hold my toddler’s attention during tummy time, but the mat’s surface gets wrinkled easily no matter how carefully we lay it flat. It does the job, though, and the double-sided feature is nice when we want a change.
